We all need to take time and enjoy life with those we love. Not just family, but our friends who helped shape us into the people we are today. As we get older and we start to lose more people, we then see how short life is. Why not take a break and plan a getaway with your friends.
A cruise is a wonderful way to gather everyone together while exploring exotic ports of call. I consider a cruise to be a highlight of a destination. You experience little snippets of a destination with your friends. Many cruise lines are in the major port cities around the world and are usually a short drive or flight away. On a cruise you have all the amenities you need, and as a group, you could receive extra benefits. Working with a travel advisor will make the planning painless and you will have access to options that you would not be able to get on your own. And working with a Virtuoso-affiliated travel advisor will open doors that you only read about in magazines.
Another great option would be an all-inclusive resort. Once again, it is a great way to gather everyone together at a single location. At an all-inclusive resort, you can be as active or relaxed as you want, so if some of you are interested in snorkeling, diving, and hiking while the others are interested in a spa-like retreat with yoga and Pilates, you will have the best of both worlds.
The last option is a luxury hotel. Some hotels have an all-inclusive option, but most are on the European Plan where you pay for your meals. With a hotel you have the option of a large brand such as Four Seasons or the Ritz-Carlton, or you can select a small boutique hotel or bed-and-breakfast. Each option is a great way to spend some quality time with your friends.
So why not gather your closest friends, pick your destinations and explore the world! Life is too short to not be with the ones who are important to us. Make the most of the time you have now and enjoy it.
